Did not change drier packed when recharging the AC system. How bad is this? (2 Viewers)

I recently went through and changed out all of the components of the AC system (AC compressor, front and rear evaporators plus expansion valves) and I just got done recharging the system when I realized I forgot to change the AC drier pack beforehand.
I made sure to cap the lines when changing out everything and vacuumed down the system for an hour before recharging.
How bad of an issue is this? Am I totally screwed or will it just not be as cold as it could be?

Kinda depends on why you did all that work in the first place. Corrosion? , leaks? Never heard of anyone having to replace both evaporators.
If the dryer was ruined and clogged then you still won't get it to work right , But since it's charged up just try it out and see how it does. But by now you've probably done that anyway.
Often the dryer is quite reusable. My 2 cents.

The AC Compressor was going bad and would make a winding/ almost grinding noise when turned on but it would still blow cold, so my train of thought was there was a possibility of a leak somewhere in the system that let the oil leak out which caused the Compressor to dry up and caused that issue. So while I had everything torn apart I just went ahead and replaced both evaporators just to make sure that wasn't the cause and for longevity. Plus the car is now 25 years old and neither of the evaporators have been replaced.
Thanks for the input though! Makes me feel a little bit better about the situation. As of right now it's still blowing cold.
