Diamond plate tailgate protector source? (1 Viewer)

Good afternoon Gents and Ladies,

I have a 2005 UZJ100 and would love to replace the ratty carpet and cardboard inner liner of the lower tailgate with a steel diamond plate insert. Unfortunately, I'm a technical idiot and not up to the task of making one myself (though I'm very much in admiration of that skill). Does anyone know where I could source a diamond plate replacement or is anyone on this board fabricating them for sale? I'd rather not do the stotage conversion because I don't need it and I already sprayed the inside of that compartment with fluid film and the clean up would be hellish. Thanks very much.

Don't know if they make diamond plating, but lots of people use huracan for a replacement for that ratty carpet
