I dropped off a bunch of body panels for my frame off with a guy who does sandblasting in Dalton, Georgia (good dude, reasonably priced and doesn't warp your junk) and he had mentioned that a neighbor was building a 40 for a customer.

He had mention the 40 before and invited me over to see it.

Must be nice to have money. There were $OR bags all over the floor...







The owner is in the flooring business and the project had been over 3 years. I hope he doesn't get angry that I stole his thunder.

In the background is a frame off Bronco that is complete. I didn't take pics of it.

This one was parked outside. I think I recognized it from a muffler shop on GA Hwy 41 where it was for sale for about $5000. (the had prevented the purchase ) For the price it was in pretty good shape. It has a confer tank in the back and was pretty unmolested and complete. The owner never drives it but the body shop re-did the fiberglass lid.

I wonder if it will be the next project.

Yep. There is AC in it and those are vents. I am unsure where the radiator is from and it is mounted to the rear of the channel to allow room for the AC condenser in the front.

And I did mention the bezel being upside down on the blue one

Hi, my name is Tox and I'm a noob. Are you guys saying to turn the 4 Wheel Drive bezel upside down? Are you expecting the bezel to correct the vehicle in a roll-over? Something like the buttered toast lands butter side down?

The grill/headlight bezel should have the thicker horizontal part around the grille on top, not at the bottom like the blue cruiser had; either way those are some clean 40s.
