hang in there man. I can take some photos if you need it but those you posted should do the trick for him.

Haul it all down here Ill help ya get it going! Your figuring out what a lot of us have already...its TOUGH to find a good wrench for old iron...let alone something newer.
Thus the need for tools, and somewhere to use em when ya wanna play with old trucks!
Its going to get expensinve if dude cant figure out how to put stuff back together and spends hours trying.

On the bright side...you will be driving your badass rig sooner or later!!! ;-)

ooo and your Nestucca River (used to dirtbike up there a LOT) pics are all whacky and screwing with the layout. ;-)

hehe thanks guys, sounds like he is clipping along today, the photos helped him sort out how it hooks up.

oy cannot wait to have this done.

After it is together i am gonna learn everything basic i do not currently know how to do so i willnever have to take it to a shop again haha :D

Nestucca is awesome :)

Ha...what you need now is another old cruiser to play/learn with as you have the red one to drive around ;)

Those rare tools you only need once in a while, I buy off craigslist use them then when done sell them on craigslist. Usually get all my money back or more. Of course with my jeep I got an engine hoist used it to put my new long block engine in it while the body was off also used it to put the body on then sold it. Found out my new long block had a cracked head and leaked water into the oil pan. Had to buy another hoist and swap the engine with the body on. Probably was a pissed at that situation as you are with this one. Had spent a year building that thing with a new engine to avoid any problems only to have about the worst problem you could have, did not even get to drive it before I had to swap the engine. Advanced Auto replaced the engine and upgraded it for me, but would rather of had the first one work.

Destin,

Did you order new window weatherstrip? If you did, do you have the toyota part # by chance. I called toyota but they are showing several different types. Looks like your almost done.

hey man :)

I do not have the weather strip for the FST wing windows.
but I found the outer rubber seal around the door at spector off road :)

Thank you,

I have a hard top. Are the wing windows the same? Did you order new window rubber for the front windshield?

wing windows on the FST doors and the hard top doors are definitely different.
However the front windscreen seal is the same.
I believe I picked mine up from Dan at american toyota.

CCOT and SOR have them as well I think, but the OEM seals are way better quality in my opinion, if you can find them use them.

You might even check with Mark at Marks offroad.
He has a lot of older cruiser stuff, and is a real cool guy.

:)

ok found some brass fittings in my junk drawer that will work, they were used in fuel lines but are the same thing, ran it by the cats at portland engine rebuilders and they gave it the thumbs up :)

Hopefully I will have my truck by tomorrow!!!!!

Wish me luck :D
