Desmog +Cam

I have done some looking around in the archives. i have not seen this question. regarding the 2f are all stock cams the same irregardless of smog equipment?

i know that on some vehicles the detuned the cam to help meet emmision standards. And this can lead to poor performance after desmogging.

I have never heard of a different cam. But I never looked either...

Not stupid, just not what most people have hanging off of their tounge..

according to this they are the same. this micro cover cdn and usa. cdn is not-smogged/de-smogged and the usa is smogged

the exhasut valve is called out as different; cdn vs. usa

lifter valve; there is a std. and o/s 0.05.

there are three sizes of bearing sets; std., u/s 0.25, and u/s 0.50

2 different woodruff keys for timing gear

2 different camshaft thrust plates

2 different rocker val sub asy. for a total of 6, sub ass 1,2,and3
