Curious what everyone's pack list looks like for these trips.
We try to pack as light as possible, but still be fully prepared. Full recovery kit for your rig, tire plug kit with extra plugs, full rain gear for each person, bug nets and repellant, expedition grade first aid kit, communication device(I use Garmin Tread), hatchet, Silky saw(Katanaboy and Pocketboy), jack, tarp, tool kit.
For our two month trip, each person had a Front Runner flat pack for their clothes and personal items. two pairs of pants, three shirts, sweater, three undergarments, three socks, beanie, hat, jacket, bathing suit.

No. not allowed. Please don't. No need.
Certain firearms are allowed, however it is a tricky process. I typically carry and wanted to on this trip, but found that it was too much hassle for the Canada portion of the trip. I could have shipped to Tok, AK for the Alaska portion of the trip. Ultimately, just decided to skip bringing anything for the entire trip. Definitely bear spray though.

I do not agree with "No need", I suppose if you stay on the road and visit the tourist sites then possibly not but if you are going to the bush or even at alot of the campgrounds there is a need. Definitely a need. I guess it depends on where you plan to go.

Gonna do it again. Leaving Jul 4. We’re taking the ferry from Bellingham to Skagway on the way up. On the return, we’ll be going over the Top of the World Highway into Anchorage. From there, we’re doing a guided base camp trip through Alaska Alpine Adventures to the Bering Straits National Monument. After that, fishing for a few days then heading home. Not sure if we’re going to take the ferry back. If we drive, we’ll probably visit Banff and Jasper National Parks.

Please get us some pictures along the way

We never made it to Tuk. We only got as far as Engineer Creek. Weather was bad, smoke from fires and then rain, which made the drive up to that point miserable and slow going, also because the rain make the road pretty bad with potholes. So we bailed, and spent more time in Anchorage. We’re on our way home now and will be arriving in SoCal this evening. Things didn’t end well, on Monday while my wife was driving, the rear wheel sheared off, she lost control, the cruiser flipped and was totaled. We escaped with hardly a scratch. We’re alive, so I’m not complaining! Rented a u-haul in Cranbrook BC and were back on the road the next day.

@JohnCapoccia I am very sorry to hear that mate, I am glad you and your wife have been protected and blessed to be safe.

Holy crap, thats an end to the story, dam. Alive is always a win. Was looking forward to the posts, RIP cruiser, you served your owners well, gave your life for theirs.

If you have the time I'd recommend going through Banff/Jasper parks to take in the sights there. How about some info/photos of your vehicle?

Hey @Devils Paw 80 photo of my build are in my signature (built thread) not certain I will have the time to do another route especially if I want the catch up with the others further up

This documentary is great about the Dempster

The video starts at Arctic Circle and goes south? I wonder what the dates of filming were. Fall colors would likely be some time in August.
