well the Euro version had 295. in late 1991 the liters went up to 6 and became 304HP. The early nineties were not known for the high horsepower figures that we know today. This is also why everyone ditches the jaguar engines for 350 SBCs unless you are a purist and masochist.

Pre-buy inspection
A guy in my neighborhood is selling his 40. Its a 1976 with 96,xxx. Its olive brown and appears to be all original. He has not listed it for sale yet and seems to be somewhat unmotivated. He's asking $16.5, but willing to negotiate.
Would anyone be interested in doing a pre-buy inspection for me. I'm a noob with not much mechanical knowledge.
I need to sell my 80 before I pull the trigger so it might not work out for me. If I can't swing it maybe one of you guys would be interested.

Have been sorting and cleaning out my tool box. Up for sale are two wrench sets, one Snap On (with roll bag) and one Blue Point. Both sets are 11 pc, containing wrenches from 3/8-1".
The BlueP oint set is matte finish, little to no wear and zero rust!! Set sells new for $169!
The Snap On set is chrome finish, little to no wear and also zero rust! This sets sells new for $700!
Asking the following:
Blue Point- $100, shipped and insured!
Snap On- $250, ship and insured!
By them both, and I will let them go for $300, shipped and insured.

He saw Luis at the gas station last time in Ocala, and did a U-Turn because he never sees other LC's in Ocala. Luis told him what was up, and he stopped by the next day and chatted for an hour or so. Nice guy, I remember him talking about selling it, but I don't remember why.
But yeah, it's a nicely done 60. The suspension work was done very well, even though he admitted he didn't know what he was really doing with it!
