I'll add it to my calendar. Hope I can make it!

Still trying to figure out when I'm going to be there. I'm stuck between Friday night and Saturday afternoon... or sometime inbetween.

I'm going out Friday, spending the day in the area, spending the night in a hotel, then going to hardrock Saturday morning. Is anyone camping out Friday night? I might be down for a wienie roast.

That weekend is shot for me. This work stuff keeps getting in the way!

It's shaping up to be a 2-nighter for me. Not sure what time I'll be there on Friday, but I should be able to make it.

Truck fest

It's here again 4Wheel Parts Truck & Jeep Fest .

When : Aug 11 - 12

Where : Orange County Convention Center

Time : Gates open at 0900 hrs ( 9:00 am )

I post this every year , is there anybody interested in going ?

I go every year just to see what they have on sale . I always bring something home . Laura and I make a day out of it , then stop at somewhere like Copper Canyon or Joe's Crab Shack for an early supper . Archie and Luis joined us last year and I think they had a pretty good time .

We can meet around 8:30 outside the Fest doors . There will be a line waiting for the doors to open . So I'm not sure how to give an exact location . Maybe off to the left once you get in , but we'll need to know for sure who is coming .

So post up and let see who plan's to come .

I'm in.

I'm out on this. :frown:
Have a MAJOR unwanted project to do on the green 60.
Engine is knocking :crybaby:

Tech Session at Steve's house .

Man at really suck's . I have found if you turn the radio up louder than you want hear the knock .

Are you pulling the engine or can you drop the oil pan ?

I'll be arriving Friday afternoon with Astrid and Madeline. Make sure to bring your fishing poles for a small fishing tournament. Rocky the Caveman might come with his family. And for you Steve, if you need help, please let me know, we can organize a Tech Section for you.

Smittybilt in-cab switch

This is a low priority for me now but anyone know where I can get a Smittybilt X20 cable to make a remote in-cab switch?

I don't know the Smitybilt specifically, but most of these are fairly small gauge wire used to control the solenoid.

You could wire up a remote in parallel with the original and leave the current one in-place, then have another in-cab one as well. Shouldn't cost that much - just have to find whatever switch you want to use and the proper gauge wire (depends on the voltage and amperage carried by the solenoid contacts, probably 16 ga or so if I had to guess)

ZMG, Luis actually posted!

TWICE! In the same thread!
