Please forgive me for my first post being a for sale post. I have been a rover guy for a long time and have been all over those forums. Been lurking here for a while now, and I am considering a land cruiser for our new family travel vehicle. As a family we travel to the mountains a good bit, and we love to camp. I am trying to get into something a little more family friendly, but at the same time what it to be very capable off road.

For sale is a 1994 Defender 90. The truck has 115,000 miles. I have had it about 2 years, and am moving on to something bigger. I have done lots of upgrades and maintenance. The truck is set up for overland travel, being that it is very off road capable, but you can also drive it 75 mph down the highway. It has a 3.9 V8 motor and the LT77 transmission (shifts perfect in all gears). Also has CDL.

Upgrades:
-RTE +2' springs
-RTE rear links
-Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks (12' travel)
-EE spring retainers
-Spring isolaters
-GBR 4.14 gears front and rear thrust bolted
-ARB air lockers front and rear
-ARB air compressor
-Rovertracks rear HD axle shafts
-HD drive flanges in rear
-Rockware front buper
-Rockware diff guards front and rear
-Rockware rear shock mounts
-Custom built rear bumper with swing out tire carrier, 2 gerry cans, and hi-lift jack
-Custom build rock sliders (attach in 3 locations = no give at all)
-Warn M8000 winch
-Badger Coachworks badger II top
-5 BFG KM2 255/85/16
-5 Gulf Coast Rovers steel wheels
-HD sleeved panhard rod and track rod
-Tuffy center console with CD/mp3/ipod
-JL audio speakers

Maintenance done recently:
-new slave cylinder on clutch
-replaced, packed, and sealed all wheel bearings
-installed 100amp alternator
-installed new steering gearbox to eliminate a leak
-moved rear seat forward to allow for more storage room in the rear
-transmission flushed

I'm sure I'm forgetting some things. This is a great truck. I am now in a position to need a bigger vehicle to fit my family and all of our camping gear in. This will make someone a great rig. PM any questions.

$26,000 for the truck

Will consider trade plus cash for a 1997 80 or a LX 450 with factory lockers.

Oops.....my bad
I guess we were approaching this from different directions.:) You are thinking dimensions and powerplants ( rightfully so ) while I was thinking years of production. If I remember correctly Land Rover did not actually use the "Defender" name until 1990 which would correspond with the production dates of the LWB 70 Series and 80 Series. So as to not cause any further confusion I will now turn off the computer and go string some Christmas lights.:)

I particularly like the swing out.
Good luck with the sale - If I were looking for another I would consider this one. It appears to be very tastefully done.
I haven't looked but is it on the D-90 forum?
Cheers

I have a 2001 LC 100 that I may offer as a partial trade/cash deal for the right D90...if you have any interest let me know and I can throw some details your way....nice D90!

Posted a want add for a 96-97 80 series!
Stock or built? I ask, because we've got a guy in our club that's got a built 40th he's wanting to sell. Great, stand-up guy and a great truck.

Congrats! I almost pulled the trigger on a 90 in Boise around 1995. I still regret not doing it.
