NV4500

Just picked mine up today after the NV4500 install. Man what a difference, a great match with the SBC. Very smooth, low noise (for a -40) and nice gear ratio. Start out in 2nd, cruise on the highway in 5th, engine doesn't sound like it's working hard at all.
Engine had to be moved forward more to the normal position vice up against the firewall. New drive shafts, clutch... Very pleased.
Had the work done by Torfab North of Seattle- Great shop highly recommend them. Nothing but Landcruisers in his shop.

Couldn't agree more, I have had the stock toyota 4 speed and then the nv4500, I also start out in second and love having the overdrive for highway, I can cruise at 65 mph with absolutely no problems at all. Past owner got it up to 100..
