Pardon my newbie-ness, but what part of NC will these festivities take place in? If I make it I'll be sure to hit a few squirrels on the way over for a nice appetizer.

Map link, first post. Zoom out and you'll see where it's near.

Directions depend one where you are coming from.

River road hits 24/27 and 109 on the other end.

From the charlotte area people normally either come out 24/27 and or our 49 to 109.

From Raleigh many come 64 to 49 to 109.

What's the preferred method for cooking squirrel anyway? :D

Like Al said, it's pretty easy to get to. It's near Troy and albermarle, on River Road.

DEER!!! The deer last year was awesome. For the new guys on the fence about coming, you should definitely try to make it. It was a lot of fun last year. Me and the family will be coming and we might bring the dogs.

Sweet pics Jonathan! I agree, those on the fence should be swayed :D

Our events at the barn are my favorite events.

Great looking barn!! I would love that barn here, ahhh in time. Heather and I have tossed this around and we just can not make it. We are traveling a lot from now to the end of the year. It really does look like a good time and I have always had a good time anywhere I have been with the ONSC.

We are hoping to have the 80 trail ready next season and with any luck the 88 4RNR too. We have spent the last couple years close to home working on the house, shop and property. We miss being on the trail, we are going to have to come up a comfort notch in the camping department. Sleeping on the ground has lost it's allure.

Have a great time one and all.

2nd picture up from the bottom i'm amazing everyone with a story......... or just drunken rambling

I think they are just trying to keep the world from spinning

Al, you are one of the few people that make me feel small in stature

Johnny you need to update the first post with the dirty santa gift give program.

For all those that haven't done one or been to our xmas party before.

We basically wrap gifts.... normally $10-$20 or something from your collection.

It can be serious it can be funny.

Nobody knows whats in them or who they are from. Those that participate put their name in a hat and grab a gift when your name is called.

The gifts can be stolen twice though before then end up with their final owner.

Example: Adam picked a gift and its a toyota gift card...... Johnny's name is drawn later and he instead of picking a wrapped gift steals adams gift..... then adam has to pick a new gift or steal from someone else.

After any gift has been stolen a second time it is locked in an stays with that owner.

Past funny gifts have included.... the karmapooptra book, the gift that every girl wants (chosen by Jerry for some reason), a pink poncho, twighlight poster

Serious gifts have been, toyota gift card, toyota trail team swag, cruiser parts, best buy gift cards.

This is totally optional and spouses and guests not in the club can participate also, all you need is to bring a gift.

So who else is going? We've only got a half dozen people that have confirmed that they're going to be able to make it.

Come on people!! You don't want to miss this trip :D

Anybody bringing their kids? Or are kids even invited? Dirty Santa parties can go a variety of directions...

"Dirty" santa with us never gets too dirty. It's always family friendly.

Bring the kids!!

Yeah as long as you aren't buying your gift at Adam and Eve you will be fine.
