December Meeting/Officer Elections, 12/12 in Apex

The December meeting and year end bash will be at our house in Apex on Saturday, December 12. Let's plan to start the meeting at 2pm. The focus of the meeting will be 2010 officer elections, 2009 review, and 2010 preview.

PRESIDENTS COMMENTS:
To all, anyone who would like to recommend someone or themselves for a position please PM me by NOON on Saturday so I can create a list, You do not have to be present to recommend anyone or be elected. We will introduce the new officers at the February Meet-N-Greet at the Farm and hope to have everyone out as last year was a great time.
We have the following positions:

President - Greg Ashcroft (southerncruiser62)

Vice Presidents (comprised of a sub-commitee)
Piedmont to the East - Alan Dickenson (Fort Knox)
Triad to Charlotte - Jason Free (jfz80)
Charlotte to the West - Al (lt1fire)

Membership Coordinator - Jon Mabe (S4cruiser)

Treasurer - Jon Mabe (S4cruiser)

TLCA Delegate - Jerry Davis (Mtbcoach)
Alt. TLCA Delegate - Alex Field (concretejungle)

Safety Coordinator - Clint Strong (Strongtoy)

Events Coordinator - Brian Keefer (GarnerFJ40)

Webmaster - Joe Miccichie (little_joe)

After the meeting, Stacy will be fixing a holiday dinner with Turkey, a variety of sides, and deserts (similar to last year). I would like to ask for $5 donations to cover the cost of the food.

If you would like to participate, we will finish off the evening with a dirty Santa / white elephant gift exchange. I would suggest a price range of $5-$10 for gifts.

Please post up by Tuesday, December 8, if you would like to stay for dinner and the number attending. Families are welcome, but keep in mind that the meeting will likely last a couple of hours.

Additional Info:
FYI, dinner will likely be around 4pm or a little later depending on how the meeting goes. As far as dinner, Stacy has the meal covered. We will have soft drinks and tea, but if you would like something stronger, please bring beer or alcohol or your choice.

For folks looking for a place to stay Saturday night, we have some room available in our house. We have several queen size air beds and a queen futon. If interested, please PM or call me.

Hi All - Will be back in VA for annual family Christmas get together. sorry to miss another one.
 
I am supposed to work much of that weekend, but will try to sneak out to come by. I really do not want to miss this!
 
Garrett and I will be there for diner, oh! and the meeting also.

Janet & I will be there...will likely have to cut out early (hope to stay for dinner).
 
I will be there and Emma is a strong possible. She has a baby shower to go to from 12:30-2PM, so I think she'll be around for the festivities :)

You might have to "snatch it out of her grubby little hands" - she seems to like the ONSC snuggie.

:) I'll make sure it's there, but I'll prolly have to pony up for a permanent replacement.

My wife had finally stopped traveling enough for us to have a conversation about this. We are good to go but do have another event later so we (what I mean to say is "I") can't have too many libations.

Please add both of us to the list, don't know about the kids yet but doubtful...
 
I plan on coming with Cinder and Tori. Any hotel recommendations for Saturday night?
 
I got out of work this weekend - unfortunately to attend a funeral in NE Ohio, so there's no way I can make it. You guys have a great time!
