No you can do it, but the sprocket is going to need to rotate as you turn the crank. Easier with another set of hands, have them keep tension on the chain and roll the sprocket as you turn the crank, go slow.Dumb question, Is there any issues with timing the block? I want to spin the engine to get at 2345 pistons and tidy up 1 and 6. When I am done just put back at TDC and orient the sprocket correctly? I know to wire up the chain to keep it out of the abyss. Am I missing anything?
