Alright, anyone else interested in this trip? So far Dan is half way putting up and everyone else is shutting up. So if there isn't much interest by Wednesday night I will just pull the plug on this trip.

I expect to be leaving Poway around 3:30 so I should be rolling down the grade between 4:30 & 5:00.
Sam PM'ed me that he is coming out for the day and not staying Friday night. So what time do you plan on packing up to head back so I can let Sam know when to meet up at Christmas Tree Circle.

After we left you at Fonts Point we took short wash out and down to Ocotillo Wells, hit up fish creek, stopped at the Antcline then up to Sand Stone canyon. We made it probably half way through the trail until we hit a decent rock section that I gave it three shots to get through before we decided to cook lunch. A rear locker would have been the ticket to continue on but wheeling Solo I decided it wasn't worth it.
Sand Stone Canyon was pretty tight, I took off a bit of paint from the Hanna bumper, dinged my exhaust and would have scraped my rear driver door if it hadn't been lined. On the way out of Sand Stone I swerved at the last second and missed a Tarantula by inches. We stopped and got it out of the trail just before some bikes came ripping by.
Then at the end of Fish Creek we found four young preppy kids in a 5 series BMW stuck about 80 feet off the pavement. Pulled out the shovel and we were able to push him in reverse back to pavement. So our trip ended with two good deeds and minor damage.
