Since I am a chivalrous kind of guy, i'll make sure there's room in my tent for Jenn.

Although Tony is pretty good and brings his own meds which saves me money on Roofies.

And he "resets" every morning....so there is no awkward next morning pillow talk.

HIJACK!!!! So what is the consensus on an anticipated departure date/time from Indy? Friday or Saturday?

Good god gum or luke.....ban this mutha scratcher!!!

I was over at scotts today (scottfzj80) and he mentioned he might be able to make it to this trip :bounce:

But if he doesnt come, he mentioned that we are welcome to his most badass military fridge/freezer. Now I am tight on space as it is, but if one of you guys want to take it and run it in a tow rig or camper (clint ;)) That would work.

It is MOST badass! runs on 12v/ 24v/ 120v/ 240v. has batteries so it can run free of power (24 hrs in freeze mode/48 hrs in fridge mode) It has a 2 cu. ft. capacity.

Damn.. What a fridge!

Is that VW on a portable scissor lift in the garage?

I agree June is better, lets shoot for the 1st or 2nd week in June.

I think the days could work well in one week.

Saturday: Travel to Washita (closer for everyone than flat nasty)
Sunday: Wheel Washita
Monday: Wheel Washita (or head to Flat Nasty if we want)
Tuesday: Break down camp. Head to Flat nasty (only a couple hours), set up camp...
Wed: Wheel Flat nasty
Thurs :Wheel Flat Nasty
Fri: Wheel flat nasty
Sat: Wheel a bit and maybe head back, Last year I liked breaking up the return travel into 2 days.
Sun: Travel Home

With such a relaxed week can take our time, sleep in, stay up late, night wheel ;) , or hit a movie again :grinpimp:

There is a good chance I will be able to make it, at least most of it. I would have to leave to come home on Thursday at latest. So drive to Washita on Saturday, wheel Sunday then head to Flat Nasty on Monday? Or was the plan to wheel Washita for more that just a day? If the plan isn't to go to Flat Nasty until Tuesday I may pass because that would be a hell of a lot of driving to just wheel on Wednesday.

Let me know,
Darrell

Salem is only 1.5 hrs from Farmington. Its worth it, if even for just one day of wheeling flat nasty, and 2 nights of camping.

Id be surprised if we left washita after one day. I bet Tuesday will be the travel day...but who knows.

PYS tour has evolved into more of a camping trip with the benefit of being able to do some wheeling on the side.

Not exactly the way id put it. We wheel everyday, for many hours, at "hardcore" ORP's. So I dont recommend bringing a stock DD that you dont want body damage.

But yes, since it is 9 days long, we spend a good deal of time on other more responsible activities. :grinpimp:

How does something "evolve" when there is only one year or one trip of history?

We were on the trail for many hours watching fix your junk. Wouldnt exactly call that wheeling. Still a fun time. I still dont recommend the use of IFS:flipoff2:

.....Such dribble, whining, and complaining. Always have a smart ass remark. I would mind less if they were a little funny, or cleaver....but I guess thats too much to ask.

Besides, why are you even posting here anymore? Let me help you find your way...SubaruForester.org
