I already have all of my hair products packed.

How does the meals work out on this little tour we are taking? Do we bring our own food and fend for ourselves each night, or is someone bringing a gas grill and we fix a group meal, or a combination of the two? I basicly need to know if I need to dig out the campstove that hasn't been used in years and leave some room in one of the beer coolers for some Spam and hotdogs.

I still need to install my CB radio. I guess since John is "waxing the raisin" I could "wash my rig", maybe even "clean the lug nuts" if ya know what I mean, wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Just the thought of him "waxing the raisin" puts me in the mood.

As far as the food thing goes, seemed to work out real good last year, I say we stick to that plan.
I have a Coleman gas stove I can bring for easy coffee makin, and/or other needs if anyone thinks we could use it, I will bring it.

Bill, have you made anything to cook morning coffee with? Just checkin. I know it takes bout 2 hours to brew a pot-o-coffee on last nights left over charcoal briquette.

First off, thanks for the visual.

We have a two burner propane stove for coffee and breakfast. Can you believe I actually moved into the 20th century? Too bad it's the 21st.
I'm bringing a WHOLE bag of Kingsford and I damn well better come home with at least a half a bag.

My R/C crawler is on order :D

I need to make some sort of mount for it inside the truck and hardwire a charger....

More parts for the 80 that i bought off of some quitter have been ordered. With how insane work has been for me and the offer of pretty much as much overtime as im willing to take this thing will be pretty stock for the run unfortunately, but it should at least be on 35's with a little bit of lift.

What time does everyone plan on leaving saturday, and from where? Im hoping to get this thing ready and packed before i leave for work friday, so i can come home and just finish some stuff arround the house and be ready to roll.

we arent crazy about leaving early. I think last year we hit the road around 10. We take 55 down so its prolly best for you to catch us.

Made some progress on Carl's buggy yesterday by getting all of the panels painted. he also repaired his cracked transmission flange with a really cool new spool gun attachment for his welder. He still has a lot of painting on the cage left to do, but he should easily have it ready now that the major stuff is done.

Tony and I seem to have finally worked out my TBI issues. We really aren't sure what we did to fix it, but it runs like a champ now! I am attributing the success to Tony's magic touch and overall good karma. :D

Tony is supposed to come over today so we can finalize his track bar. This will be the third weekend in a row in an even slower than normal pace for us, but it is really turning out well and may possibly be the strongest piece of his truck!

Carl and Tony have both independently stated that they will be ready to leave Friday night after work June 4th. I'm not sure that's a great idea to try to find Washita at night and setup camp in the dark, but apparently they are both pretty stoked! I'm on vacation the weeks surrounding the tour so I am open to any time.

I'll be leaving Sat. morning, coming across I64. The food deal sounds cool with me.

Ron came by the house yesterday while Tony and I were working on our rigs. We discussed when we wanted to leave for the tour. Tony clarified that he didn't necessarily mean that he wanted to start driving Friday night, rather he wanted to start partying Friday night! Of course Ron and I were cool with that. We continued to discuss the merits of starting the drive Friday and maybe hitting a hotel. Suddenly Ron had a moment of clarity and said "Hey man...we could crash in my pop-up." I didn't think Tony and I could be more stoked but I was wrong. Game on a day early!!!!!:bounce::grinpimp::D

Whoo fawkin Hoo. Party on Wayne
11 days & the party, I mean, wheelin adventure starts.
Hard to grasp that the time is almost here
I am ready!
Can't hardly wait to see every one & enjoy the adventure
Looks like its gonna be awesome

Oh & by the way, thanks to “Commander Fab”
My anti wrap is done & looks great.
I feel lots better. Now I hopefully can avoid pullin a Phil (or a Mark) on the rocks

I'm giddy

I may seriously wash & wax my truck now

gettin down to it and I'm truckless.

The Dodge runs again, but pukes oil. I'll put front seal number 4 in it today.

edit - done and not leaking

I was checking things out on the pig while I was waiting for seal #3 to be delivered and found about 60* of free rotation in my front pinion. I'll get to pulling it apart too. 4 more days and I'm shopless so I gotta get to it.

edit - both knuckles torn off. 3rd should be on the ground this afternoon

I got half of the new bushings in the trailer. six more to go.

edit - two more out, but I noticed the nylocks aren't hitting the threads in the bolts, so I need different bolts and I have to re-do the left side.

The Berg runs good and the Axial is getting back together. So it's not all bad.

What a bunch of whimps having your rigs ready to go this soon, I'm picking up the tubing for the trac bar tomarrow after work. Still need to change oil in everything the family owns, repack the trailer bearings and weld up the spare tire mount. This all will be done between 5 ballgames, a graduation, a graduation party, mowing 3 yards, a 50 hour a week job, and kissing up to the wife to make up for being gone for 9 days.

Should have plenty of time.
