I feel silly asking this... but, I cannot find a dimmer switch for my dash lights on my HJ61... question is, is there one?

My 1987 HJ61 doesn't have one.

my buddy's jap spec. 61 doesn't have one either, i think i may be something to do with japan's crazy vehichle laws.

but really, i haven't got a clue. just guessing.

I don't think the JDMs have dimmer switches...at least none of the BJ7x's and HJ61 that I've ever seen had one. I think in the FSM it does state that the dimmer was meant for NA and Europe.

anyone know how much work it would be to install a dimmer from US spec fj60? Just connect the wires? Not sure I "need" it, but since I've got one...
