Dash Card Holder?? (1 Viewer)

Can any of you explain the card holder in the dash? And it only holds a card or two. Anyone?? Anyone figured out a use of that space?

And also the card holder in the sun visor.

The best I can figure is a folded up proof of insurance card.

The holder in the dash is for a magnetic pass key, like you might use if you pay for monthly parking in a gated parking lot. The one in the visor is for tollway tickets.

It's for whatever you want it to be for. Coffee club card... parking lot access card... ATM card... Car wash card...

I use it for my work garage access card. Great idea for Toyota to integrate this.

I use the one in the dash for my Dunkin Donuts card. It’s usefulness is pretty high for me since I live in Rhode Island where there is Dunkin on almost every other block. (For those who might not know, the corporate HQ is here, we have almost as many Dunkin‘s as we have people.)

This is what I have in mine too. Magnetic coded gate key fits perfect and I’ll never lose it.
