@Dynosoar came by last week to pick up some stuff and to drop off something he needed made. It was a throttle cable bezel for the dash. The original one is stamped steel which is then chromed. But it was in bad shape. It was thrown into an optical comparator to get the basic profile without needing to cut it in half. Had a quick render made and send it to the 3D printer to have a 1:1 proto made up for fitment. Looked good. Time to make one out of aluminum...and done. Now it can be anodized, painted or just polished up for the chrome look.

Now I bring this up because, well, I don't make a whole heck of a lot for the 40 Series and I'm finding its not easy to find interesting things to make over on this side. Especially not anything worth the time and energy especially since I don't have a 40 at the moment. I have a 60 and an 80. BUT...is there any interest in these things? Is there already a solution out there that isn't $3000? Feedback is welcome.

Yes, trim ring fits all the dash cabels on my '66 (Choke, Throttle, fresh air, and heater controls too)

Got my pair today. Thanks! Can't wait to put them on my 40.
