D'Animal! Need help with an MS 290

My Stihl MS 290 no longer feeds oil to the bar. I bought it late 2001. I tried to use D'Animals instructions on the same problem for an MS 280 but the saws are too different and I don't want to just take things apart randomly. Also, how would I check the oil pick screen.

How cold is it there? What weight Bar and Chain lube are you running?

Turn the sprocket drum and see if there is any resistance. If not, take the sprocket and clutch off and check the drive gear.

I've been sitting on this problem for awhile now. It started before the temperatures dropped below freezing so I don't think its a temperature issue. The oil I'm using is Quaker State Bar and Chain Oil though.

Also, is there a trick I need to know to get the clutch assembly off? When I get down to the drive gear what exactly will I be looking for as pertains to bar and chain oil?
