Danger of cracked dash? (1 Viewer)

hello all I am looking at a GX470 that has a cracked dash. Is there any safety issues with this or is it purely aesthetic ? Everything else is great on it other than that but I got a 1400 dollar quote to fix it so I need to see if it is worth it. Thanks everyone

Nothing functional. Cost to repair is a little high but in the middle range. There was a recall but it expired unless it is a 2008 or 2009 and you are still in range of the years mark for the recall.

Ok as long as there is no safety issue I’m ok with putting a dash cover over it for the short term. My wife is going to be driving it though and I want to make sure it’s safe
