This truck runs great and I have driven it to Green Bay, Wi twice in the last year including in December this year. Even in their cold winter this truck fired right up. I daily drive this truck and it runs/drives very well. Its been built to drive anywhere in the nation at the drop of a hat and I wouldn't hesitate to take it to California tomorrow.

Within the last year the following work has been done:

Engine work: Top end rebuilt
Head gasket
Valve adjustment
all associated gaskets

Complete fuel system:
New fuel pump
New fuel lines/clamps
Electronic choked carb was gone through
Fuel tank was vatted
New fuel cap

Complete Ignition system:
Electronic Ignition kit
New coil
New plugs/wires

Complete cooling system
New water pump
New thermostat
New radiator
All new lines/clamps

Brakes
Rear brakes rebuilt

New 33" BF Goodrich mud terrains with full size spare (over 1100 in rubber with less than 5,000 miles)

All maintenance
Fluids in both axles
Trans fluid
Battery with mounts/cables
All filters and small stuff

Steering/suspension:
New bushings (some not all)
everything works

MISC
Seat covers (front and rear)
Over $1,000 worth of marine grade stereo (not included but negotiable)
Trailer hookup (4 pin) I pulled a 4x8 open motorcycle trailer to and from WI. in December
Ignition switch

Comes with hardtop and hard doors. The passenger side window does need a track. Everything else works. I only use the top/doors 4 months then they come off for the summer and I never got around to the passenger side window. The truck has the original straight 6 engine/ manual transmission / and axles. It is all stock accept for the few small things listed (electronic ignition and auto choke carb).

TAKE NOTE AT HOW CLEAN THE INSIDE OF THE MOTOR IS.

Not a show vehicle but a very solid driver and I get compliments all of the time. The hard top could use some body work but is serviceable as is.

Did I just miss it... What year is the 40? Looks great!

And thanks! The pics make the paint look a little better than it actually it (pics always do) but its a good truck. Hoping Someone here will take it off my hands

What's the mileage? Would You consider a trade for an 80 series?

Sorry I've already bought a m715 for the next vintage 4x4 so I'm not looking to trade for another truck at this time although I may be interested in a really cheap gas saver plus cash. The odometer I'll have to check tomorrow. I believe its reading 15k meaning its gone around once so 115k. I also forgot to add a few new parts like a starter. There's a lot of small stuff that you forget when making an add.

that sure is a sweet truck! is there any rust?

Thank you! There was rust at one point in time. The previous owner put a new floorpan in the back and did some body work to repair rust in other spots. Its not perfect but a good driver. It is not a rust bucket. The frame is rock solid without even surface rust, body is good, but not perfect. The hard top on the passenger side-inside, (the bolt holes/flat spot along that corner close to the tailgate) has some rust. The running boards also have some rust. I know that new running boards are available (150 new when i checked) and just bolt right on.

I'm on the hunt for a 40 and this looks like a nice rig for the money...any serious inquiries yet?

Would be helpful to see some additional photos if you've got 'em- rear shots at least.

I have had lots of people ask about it. I am unsure how serious they all are but believe that a couple of them have gingenue interest. I have my M715 completely stripped and hope to finish that within the next month. If this truck fails to sell by that point I am probably going to pull the body, strip to bare metal, take lots of pictures and list it for a much higher price.

RECEIVED CHECK FOR TRUCK TODAY. I AM ASSUMING IT WILL CLEAR SO TRUCK IS SOLD. IF IT DOES NOT SELL I WILL POST AGAIN.
