Got a little bit hot under the collar with the mrs. the other day while touring in the 80. The end result was I smacked the top of the gearshift with some "emphasis". :censor: Two results, #1 - no nookie for a couple of days, #2 Instantaneous healing of "burnt out" "D" lamp in dash. Go figure.

Hmm, mine's out too. Got any tips on angle, how hard you hit, etc?

This could be a tech fix. Someone else fixed theirs by banging the dash but I can't bring myself to hit it harder than a feeble whack.

Thanks,

DougM

Every once in a while my D light goes out too, a slight slight tap on the screen to the instrument cluster always turns it back on. Next time might I suggest this method so you dont lose out on the nookie for two days, what a shame that was!!! :flipoff2: :D :flipoff2:

Hmmm....you gave up sex for "D" ..... :D

Can this repair be done without pissing off SWMBO? Or is that a neccesary component to the repair?
