Seeing if someone can help me. My 95 LC 80 is misfiring on cyl 6. the CEL is on, I have replaced the plugs twice and it runs great for about 2 days and starts running rough again.. I also replaced the wires, worked great for another 2 days.
What next? I'm thinkin maybe injectors or compression problem? Pulled the cap and rotor, looks OK. Timing problem?

Also plugs are pink with small particles on them, not a lot of oil or anything.

#6 is the only plug that was bad.

I concur

Ouch, i hear the membership dues to the blown HG club are pretty steep! How much should a repair cost?

Depends on if your the DIY type or not. [/url]

it also depends on what else you want to fix/ replace "while you're in there."

I spent very close to $2K. But I replaced a lot of things that were not entirely necessary. I have all the parts on Excel, pm me your email address and I'll mail it to you.

Just Dropped the LC off at Toy specialists, He's sure its the Headgasket. He's gonna do the whole top end for about 2200-2600.Won't make the meeting tonight but I just sent in my membership app. See ya at the next one.

Take the opportunity to replace some important bits like fuel filter, clean the intake, TB, perhaps some vacuum lines, clean the EGR, Crankshaft oil seal, oil pump gasket, etc.. The mechanic will be in knee deep in this stuff so now is the time to R/R these items, valve cover spark plug well seals, etc.
