lol, those pants are from the baggy pants are cool days (it's a 90's teen thing). That banana board is an original from 1983, I just may have to snap a shot with the shorts on the board.

if you do this then I swear I'ma post a pic of Lenny's apron...

Can I post a pic of my 80 loosing weight in your thread?

post away...Don't those weight loss programs preach shedding the pounds in a group effort? lol

Creeper post a few pics of the trailer with the rig on it once it's ready.

LOL safety in numbers.

See how much the back end raises when you remove stuff. 4" FOR GenI lift that used to be a whole lot more level. And i haven't even removed the hitch yet and bobbed.

I can't wait to see the THAT!, lol

It wasn't that big of a deal... my rotund ass almost fell 40 feet onto some rock... and Lenny happened to grab me. The jury is still out on whether he staged for AFV... I may have said something funny in the video which was ironic because I'm always so serious and never joke around.

May a post an update to my 80 loosing weight? even though it's still very heavy

You're probably a good several hundred pounds less than we with all the 2nd row window guts removed, additional roof cutout and all. Looks great. I shed about 5-8lbs just by removing misc bolts, brackets, and parts that were no longer in use. Ditching my rear bumper next (That weighs 150lbs+)

Not really an 80 any more, but may help for comparison purposes: My FZJ40 weighed in on the CAT scale at 5500 lbs with trail gear and driver. (hard top not included)

It could have been lighter by several hundred lbs, I used 2x3x3/16 tube instead of .120 wall DOM for the rockers and the rear flares are prototypes for the "rock flares" we sell so they were made from 1/4" rather than 1/8" like the production models. I also have dual batts and rear winch. Other than that it's about as light as I could have made it.

The 80 with it's heavy HVAC and doors, seats, etc is going to be hard to get under 5k in trail trim without some serious cutting.
