i'm relocating all my pivots and such during my spring over. as i'm trying to put it all toghether, i'm wondering about the relationship between the leafsprings. should they be parallel to each other, or should they be toed in or out? it seems like the stock front springs (for example) are toed in because the rear pivot is offset about a quarter inch in relation to the shackle mount, and the frame is parallel from front to back in that stretch of the ladder. maybe i'm missing something here, please enlighten me! is there a leaf spring geometry book or guru i can look to?
thanks all,

i'd have to say that you want them as parallel as possible.

What Georg said..... If they are not parallel, then you would be putting the bushings and pins and shackles in a bind every time you flex. No doubt that happens anyway when you get twisty, but there is no point in having the "rest position" be skewed.
