Custom push pull cable for early fj wiper link

I've been looking for a good condition push pull linkage for my 72 fj40 wipers for a while now and it seems even the best used ones have cracks in the plastic and are headed for failure shortly. Im wondering if anyone has had a new one made from a custom push pull cable manufacturer? If so whom did you use. If no one has done this yet, would there be a demand from others who wish to replace thier failing early wiper link? Any suggestions for an ambitious cable manufacturer would be appreciated
