5 receivers? That is a lot of receiving that will be doing... may I ask what and why???

Love the look and shape of that ladder, very cool!

My client uses his rig for ski mountaineering/guiding and in the summer mountain bike guiding and adventuring. So everything needs to have a purpose/place for his travels.

All the receivers will eventually have an item that supports his needs. I may build some of the attachments for him or he may outsource it once he uses the bumper and gets a feel for what needs to go where. The main centered swing receiver is for a bike/ski rack.

Possible additions.. BBQ, jerry can, cooler/platform rack, prep table, propane rack... just whatever the imagination can conjure up really.

Get on it... you can sleep when your dead! ;) Can't wait to see what you have come up with. -Mark

Mark,

I have a shell bumper in the works for the 40. Lots of request for this. Just need to take care of customers first before I can finish it and show it.

Up next ...........

8274- 60 front for @SharpasMarbles

70 custom rear for @beno

I just finished the CAD drawings for the 40, 55, 60/80 series gutter mounts as well. Only making a limited amount of the 55 mounts.

But the 40 and 60/80 will produce about 100 pieces.

Can't wait to see the gutter mounts!

They look just like my old version but have the proper height for the piggies. Will give you about 1.25" from the highest point on the roof to the bottom of rack. I had Ron @scrapdaddy take some measurements for me. Thanks again Ron.

I have stretched the 60/80 mount an additional 1/2" from the first run design and the 40 mounts will have the same 1.25" spacing as well but on a wider footprint 4.5" instead of 4"

Also my freight carrier has come back with a flat rate for ROOF RACKS for the lower 48... This should the customers in a better mood for buying racks independently of bumpers. So, in my spare time when I have any, I will start to build up racks for the 40/55/60/80 series.

Thanks,

Jason

Pig gutter mounts should be sold with a disclaimer, like the "off road only".

Mr. T went kinda overboard with the port installed rust on the 55s, with extra special attention paid to both the gutter and rocker areas, BUT the tricky b----d did a phenomenal job at concealing it.

Point well taken Chris. Want to get me a 70 roof height measurement next time you are by yours (OR ANYONE FOR THAT MATTER)? I think the 60/80 mount way work, but not opposed to cranking out a new dimension for the 70s.

Tongue in cheek, man, tongue in cheek, and from a duly infected, pig brained love-hater of, what may be, the world's most expensive 55....

I haven't followed to know what dimension you need, but will be by the parts 70, pulling your hinges, the next opportunity I get.

I am not so sure I would trust the rain gutters on the FRP tops to hold much of a load. I have an ARB rack for my 73 that attaches over the front doors and on the rain gutter over the rear (semi-ambulance) doors. The rack also has feet that contact the roof surface in multiple spots.

I just do not trust the fiberglass to hold up ... I think @cruiserdan has had some experience in this regard as well ...
