We all have our ideas about the best factory color....... white... duh!;)

I have seen a couple custom jobs but generally a solid color. I'm not sure how many of you remember the TV show ''Daktari'', they had a Jeep J-10 that made a big impression on me. I have always wanted to do something similar. I realize this may be toooo radical for most of you but how about....

I did that on a beige 60 with black stripes in 1987.....got alot of attention....I'd say the white and black would get even more.....

So the old zebra debate...

Is it a white rig with black stripes

Or

Is it a black rig with white stripes???

Much better than boring white!

Why not wrap it instead of painting it?

There's a built 60 series in town with a camo "wrap" on it. It's the same stuff they use for buses and cars with advertising plastered all over the vehilces.

The matierial is fairly tough and it's not as "permanent" as paint. Not sure about the cost...

I'm surprised nobody has decided to go for some retro colors on their 80s, I think a built FZJ80 in Freeborn Red, Mustard Yellow or the early beige would look GREAT!

How about a nice medium olive green?

I do like the Freeborn Red idea, tho', I wouldn't have to paint my trailer...

The early beige has been done, a board member has one.
