Hi, all. I'm cross posting this because I asked in the 100 forum for advice on a potential purchase here in CT. But I also wanted to put out there that I'm looking for a 100-series to be the more around-town sidekick to my '86 FJ60. If anyone can advise on the rust issue of the one I refer to below, or knows of any other clean NE or east coast 100s, I'd love to hear. Thanks for any advice or leads. I'm a novice, bu really appreciate it.

my advice is to find another one.

Every bolt you or a mechanic turns is liable to break on that truck, leading to frustration for you and higher billed hours for them.

Search in the south and south west, find a rust free truck and either road trip it or have it shipped. The extra cost will pay off quickly.
