When I first got her I was very reluctant to go beyond 100 to 105 KPH. Then I upgraded the exhaust to a 2.25" end to end w/no muffler and she smoothed out so I really felt ok running as high as 110. I run i-95 in the morning for my 25 mile one way trip to work about 2 or 3 times a week as a point of reference.
Once I installed the snorkel I now can run smoother and under 3000rpm at 120KPH which is more than I really ever want to run in a truck like this and I feel really good about it. I have a 13BT by the way.

What are others getting as far as performance?

I hardly ever exceed 105kph (65 mph) but I'm old and conservative. :)
I seldom exceed 2,400-2,500 RPM.

Mine likes ~67 MPH. With 285/75/16 tires and 4.11 gears the engine is spinnng ~2,600 RPM in 5th. It really likes that spot.

13BT by the way.

The vibration in my rear view mirror goes away and comes back at various speeds. I currently have BFG 265/70R16's by the way but switching to a 285/60r18 with cast aluminum wheels to reduce the weight a little and get a wider foot print. I believe I have the same gears in mine as well.

It should also be 4.11 if stock. By the way my speedo is corrected.

I used the WAZE app on my phone and it said at 120 KPM I was running 77MPH and I know of no work on the gears so I would assume they are 4.11's as well

I've been up around 80 and it does not like that very much. It'll do it but grudgingly. I was not comfortable at that speed. My Challenger feels much better at ~130 (on a track of course) than the BJ74 does at 75

My method is a little simpler. When I can no longer hear the radio, I slow down a tad. :)

Wait a second, snorkel makes it run smoother?

Not a diesel here but I have been able to cruise along over 100 kph easily on the freeway during the short times I drove mine. 5 speed trans.

I can hit 120 kph even but I don't like the way it feels at that speed.

I am not sure how accurate that is though, need to do research on the stock tire size mine came with vs what I got now.

I've got plenty of HP and torque in my truck but like most of you I rarely go over 100kph / 60mph, I often get up to that speed pretty quick but don't have any need to go over it that's where the truck wants to cruise without shaking itself to bits or becoming a hazard to other motorists :)

These engines were never manufactured for American superhighways.

Go slow, see the sights and Land Cruise. :)

3B/H55F, 255/85/16 tires, steel wheels, and speedo corrected and 100-110 is my sweet spot.
Beno, If I had a view like that but if I get on the highway I have to go at least around the speed limit or I would be a hazard to the rest...

I was more just curious about the performance of my engine related to others. If I want to go fast I do that in my other car. I enjoy pulling up to people on the highway in the lane to the right of me and then they notice I am driving on the wrong side of the vehicle:)

The last road trip I took (~ 7 hours behind the wheel) I just stayed in the right lane when I was relegated to the interstate system. (It doesn't seem to piss people off when they realize you're doing your best to stay out of their way) On numerous occasions, I would notice a vehicle behind me or beside me that would be matching my reduced speed and I would wonder why. The answer became clear when I saw the camera phones. :)
It's kinda fun to get a "SEG" and a thumbs up from these folks as they pull away.

You may have already mentioned this but is the BJ your daily driver?
