Is anyone using the stock ECU able to run more than 7psi? Or is 7psi the limit with stock ECU?
@Cruisers and Co
Mine pegged 10.5 psi while testing....with just the downpipe on it. AF sensor seemed happy, but not sure how accurate it was at that point. We are getting much closer to a driver now that my buddy Nick is making sweet love to the exhaust.

So impatient 😂 I never said it would be this month
Yep, I am.

The new thread was promised this month, not the tranny.

I've been searching and researching different ways to adapt a 5+ speed tranny in my 80 for many years.
Asked around many transmission shops if they could work on getting a different one in my car, but I was met with a wall of negative answers.

Everyone said it is impossible. I never lost hope though.

"Hoping to" doesn't sound like a promise. Yes I am waiting patiently for this to happen also, and was excited to have info at the end of the month too.

Also, most said it was impossible. I have an adapter made that actually fits and attaches an A750 to a 1FZ, as posted in the 5 speed thread I am waiting on free time and money to get the computer. Waiting patiently for CC to actually get a running truck with one in it so I don't have to re-invent the entire wheel.

Intercooler, 3” SS exhaust, custom air box with 200-series v8 filter, ceramic coated intercooler and it’s plumbing.

Probes; boost at intake and air/fuel at exhaust dump about 8-10” from the turbo.

7psi video

Cheers

Ok damn you got me 😂 I will start the thread tomorrow after the Cruise Moab rush… keep in mind I have a 1 and 3 year old and it is Saturday, their day with dad so it’ll be later in the day

Somewhere inside my garage something like can be found.

So in case it is A750 I can have the conversion for much cheaper than the rest of you. :D
You will not need that but you will need a factory shifter though… oh wait everyone has one of those!

Nice! I'll be excited to see yours in person...I was in at #132...can't wait to get out there and see (& wheel with) lots of these great rigs & owners!

I may have to leave all traces of credit at home as I know what can happen once I meet up with you @Cruisers and Co fellas!

Not going to make this year, first time I miss it in 8 years pretty bummed
Sorry to hear, I was totally assuming that I’d get a chance to meet you and check out your beast at this one…o_O
