Nice! Like mentioned, I don't have a turbo but would rock this. Love that it's clean and pretty much invisible from outside.

Nice! How does this affect coolant temps?

Looking forward to IAT temps pre & post install.

I’m pretty sure I’m getting heat soak with my turbo set up.

Once everything gets hot, it just amplifies everything.

Trans fluid cooks radiator, oil temp rises as water gets hot, it’s a slippery slope.

Any ideas of an oil cooler too? I had the idea of a Setrab cooler with a fan running from turbo to oil pan, but heard that’s not a good idea. But nobody recommended or knew a better place to run it.

Fixed it for you too 🤣 thanks! We really tried to keep it tucked and clean

We haven’t had it in really hot conditions yet but a lot of guys in Australia run similar setups (same core size) without issues. As we all know a healthy cooling system is necessary on these motors.

I still think you’re battling the MAF being heat soaked. This will certainly help your IAT’s while moving.

I’ll pm you about an oil cooler. I have ideas but don’t want to derail this thread

Will this flow better, less restrictive, then the turbo setup without the IC? I'm not at all familiar with turbos so this might be a dumb question, but will the IC increase the HP/TQ numbers? And lastly, I don't see the heater core return hooked up or the pipe into the thermostat area. Is that deleted or just not pictured?

I'm in for the intake temps, but definitely looking forward to adding this once I get the turbo installed!

No it won’t flow better…but you won’t loose as much power due to heat soak…a good thing as it also means you IATs are lower

It restricts flow but the turbo will compensate wastegate source pressure is taken post IC. You’ll have denser air post IC too so in certain scenarios you’ll make more power. Like on a hot day intercooler vs not intercooled you’ll make more power than the non intercooled setup.

Ok cats out of the bag lol It's live and available for purchase!
