I saw a black topless lifted 40 at the corner of Ben Sawyer and Rifle Range yesterday.
The light changed before I could get a pic.
Looked good, though.
I haven't seen it before.

Not local, but spotted this when I was up in Montana for work.

A guy showed up at Cars and Coffee this morning with an FJ Company restored 40. The workmanship was flawless. Not sure its worth the $130K price tag, but closest thing you can get to buying a new 40 off the lot (albeit a South American spec truck)

Spotted this beautiful 40 series at a local car show. I was planning on heading back over and drooling over it some more but it left before I could.

@mooker82 That thing is sweet....I just can't justify the price tag. You could buy 2 Japanese diesels, an 80 and a 100 for that coin...and then have some cash leftover for a skiff haha

@Eliot I’m still waiting on the early 200s to drop under $20k. That new price tag is hard to swallow. I have a 40, 80, Tacoma, GX470, and a skiff already.

@mooker82 Right on. I've been eyeing them as well. If my 100 goes down i'm still up in the air on whether I'd go for a 200 or another 100. What's got you interested in the 200? Also see you have a '74 Bronco. Looks like it's in great shape! What motor is in it? I have a '78 F-150 with a 351m. She ain't pretty but sure is a blast to drive.

@Eliot I would probably sell my Tacoma and get a 200. The Tacoma was great when I needed a truck but my wife hates it and wants something more comfortable. Would be a tough decision between a 200 or a GX460.

The Bronco is in pieces right now. Decided to tear it down and redo it and slowly working on it. Trying to modernize a few things so it can be driven in Charleston without being scared to death on the interstate.

Saw a Sweet FZJ80 on Foster Creek in Goose Creek. Lifted, wheels, tires. snorkel. Reminds me of mine. No pics was driving the whole time.
