Well I got a tip on 4 parts cruisers in hickory NC that might have some parts on them that would be worth the trip. Alex and I rode up there Sunday and took a look. Not much in the way of parts. But the cruiserhead Dustin we met was a really nice guy. Thought I would share some of the pics with you and see if anything in them might interest you. It was actually a pretty sad site.

The only thing we came away with was a course spline birf for Alex, a tranny hump for Chuck and a driveshaft for Alan and 5 hrs of driving through snow and rain.

That is sad! I will keep it in mind though, if I decide to go with a 40 project. Was that a factory or aftermarket AC system in the smurf blue with a white winshield?

How were the prices on this stuff?

Those are pretty rough. You could still get a few hundred dollars worth of pieces out of them though. All the lights and dash knobs and stuff. Otherwise they looked pretty useless though.

Lights and dash nobs well all frozen in place. The air on the 67? was not stock. I actually have the same one in a box in my office if you are interested.

I think any AC I have in a 40 will be the top and doors off :)

I wish they still made tires that said Michelin X on them! Those are sweet! :bounce:

His name is Dustin. I couldn't tell you where just because there were so many lefts and rights and we were following him. If your interested in talking to him I can give you his #.

And this is his cruiser. It's really nice.

Is that Dustin Eisenhaur's place? I've never been there, but I have wheeled with him once before.
