Food this year, or BYOL (lunch)?

Will be arriving from Grand Forks with the 70.

It will be great to see you, Mel!

Dang I forgot this was this weekend. I won’t be coming. I made previous commitments to go camping to north Chehalis tomorrow. Bummer hope you all have a great time. I’ll be camping up there until Monday ,, needed to put some KM’s on my rig it’s been sitting way too much these past few years. ICBC said last time I put proper insurance on it was back in 2015. Ouch. I tossed 3 months insurance on it this summer I hope to get it on the trails a few more times this summer.
Cheers.

See you tomorrow!

Sorry guys…
Can’t get down this year. Just got back from a two week trip to Northern VI and now the truck is in pieces getting ready for our upcoming Yukon adventure.
Have fun.

Had a pretty good turnout, lots of new faces too 😎

Huge thanks to Rob for all the work these take! 👍🏻👍🏻

A good turnout of Land Cruisers! Always a good time. The beige 60 on 40's from the island won best-in-show. The BJ70 with the 13-BT was driven by Mel and his wife Joan from Grand Forks to win the Iron Butt award (did we mention Mel is 85 this year?!! )

The 81 with the missing grill was towed in with a recently transplanted Duramax and Allison transmission for Worst in Show.

Two fridges this year were won by Dennis and Andrew! Great to see our club members Jonathan from the island, Phil, John M, Mel&Joan, from the interior and the many regular club members from the lower mainland, Steve T, Steve B, Mike, Andrew & Magdalena (my faithful helpers! :), Darryl, Franz, Kirsten, Sarah, Alex, Jason & Josh, Ruwi, John V, and others I'm sure I've missed! And so many other enthusiasts; thanks for making our 30th Cruiser Days a lot of fun!

Thanks Rob, once again a perfect event. I was very happy the weather cooperated. It was the most perfect day! Amazing part was all the technology and fabrication done at the hands of truck owners. Just Wow!
Should have been a prize for the hydraulic PTO drive for the dual winches on that 80.
Maybe next year have a group selected prize for most interesting mechanical upgrade? There would be a lot to choose from.

A great suggestion!

A prize category for 'Best Built Mod' . I LIKE IT!
