There is plenty of space to park trailers and what not at my in-laws if need be. I just need to let them know with a heads-up. If any of this sounds good let me know.

That would be great!

For those of us who would be shipping our trucks, a safe drop off and pick up point is very important...

All of this is pitched with the understanding that it is early in the planning stage. I would need to know the number of vehicles, trailers, etc. to give my in-laws an idea of what to expect... so as to not overwhelm them... they are accomadating but like ample time to plan and understand all the angles. Their property is acutually in Fruita, west of Grand Junction on about five acres. There is also is possibly a little space at my sister-in-laws place if needed.

On anoter note, if someone were shipping and not able to arrive in time to sign for their vehicle I may be able to sign for them. In this case I would fly out and meet the Club, although I would like to be a co-driver (but that is to be determined). Either way, for me this would be a family and Club visit. By the way, some of my family may want to join the Club wheeling as guests if possible. They do have ATVs and may bring those as well, if there is not enough space in the Cruisers.

Got several internet quotes $1500-$3000 one way just 1 truck.
Just talked to a shipper. $1800 for each truck 3 total. Round trip.

Wow! That has really gone up in the last year. When I had my FJ-40 shipped from Tucson it was $900 one way. Let me see who I used. The round trip is the key too. As I recall they company waits for a driver to come available or accept the bid. They give a window, which can be 1 week-10 days. If we go with this option a rallying point really make since.

Still the pricing seems high to me.

Need to get this thread going again. post up if you are serious about making this trip and if you plan on driving or shipping. Also what kind of time frame you are considering. One week two weeks or going and not coming back.

I'm in...shipping my rig, plan on being there for the full event, longer if necessary.

I'm out!! Pretty bummed but I can't afford it this year.
