I may leave today and camp in Escalante Canyon. Weather is just too nice not to. Few stops tomorrow then should be at camp around 2PM. We will have white BCC signs directing y'all to camp at Rabbit Vly.

I have the two Porta potties and spill kit already packed.

Hoping everyone can bring in firewood, a bundle or two, more if you can. City Market in Fruita has it at $4 each. Be sure it's well tied down. And if your carrying extra gas be sure it too is well secured using ratchet or cam straps. Bungies won't cut it. We recommend 8-10 gals of spare fuel.

I really hope that CMC gets it together and notifies the two replacements. It would be a real snafu if they miss the trip due to a "clerical error".

Ready to rock n roll, see y'all soon.

Looks like Tuesday and Wednesday are going to be nice temps but VERY windy. Sustained winds 25-30 with higher gusts. Be prepared.

Yea, wind for camp setup! NOT! With that bit of info I won't be brining the 10x20 canopy for sure now. No need to chase it back to Colorado! :bang:

See everybody in camp tomorrow.

Tent campers, here's a tip to survive high winds. Go to your favorite camping store and buy several of those big tent pegs that look like huge nails with plastic hooks on the end. Walmart has them. The wimpy stakes that come with tents won't hold in high (any) winds.

The weather WAS looking too good to be true.

T-Minus 8 Hours. I'll be sending a team email shorty.

Is this a super duper secret email?

I'm packing now, working a 1-9pm shift, getting a little sleep, then westbound and down, loaded up and truckin'.

See you boys in the morning!

Nope. Did you receive it. From bookcliffcruiserclub at gmail

Update on firewood: City Msrket is out but Maverik a ways south on 6 does.

Camping is kinda scarce here. We are located near the OHV training area. Come thru the big parking lot, take first left then next right. Its already windy and dusty. Follow BCC signs. Coordinates 39 12.302 109 00.068. Picture of last turn:

We are doing tech inspection and drivers meeting here. Follow BCC signs to camp.

Just now getting underway from our second camp and doing Rose Garden Hill today. Yesterday we did Top of the World and had a trailer flop, not mine, and no damage. It was being "tested" and got a thorough ringing out. Photo of the great dinner Matt served us (THANKS!).

Looks like you guys are having a great time! See you around camp this evening!

And we got to rally test the Dinoot Trailer when I lost my glasses back at Rosé Garden, too! Power slides real nice behind the 80. At least we didn't flip it a second time...

Thanks for the awesome trip, folks. This is a stellar run that's not to be missed, at least if Ace, Jonathan and Matt are involved. Kudos!

Just a quick reminder of how awesome it was! I'm jealous that most of you are still there.

I could not resist posting this photo of Kes Harris all dressed up for dinner in her cow-pie suit.

The next photo is the twins setting the table "Barney Rubble style".

Shawn, really cool that you found your glasses!

Just wanted to post up a big thanks to Johnathan, Ace and Matt for their hard work, and to everyone else for making this a great trip! It really was an exceptional group.

^ Excellent! Thanks for sharing! I'm going to pretend I didn't see that pic of Chris changing the tire with flip flops on.
