True

The overnight run is not a night run. The trails are a couple hours South of Moab which dictates camping "overnight" near the trailheads. We will be running two trails there, one Wednesday and the other Thursday. Arch Canyon which is a probably a "3" rated trail that starts off with some cool Indian dwellings and ends with a couple remote archs and involves a lot of time in and out of a river along the way. Hotel Rock is a very different trail, maybe a 3+ or 4 rated trail that involves a great deal of rock crawling up to a high point on the mesa with a very well preserved cliff dwelling. Good variety of trails in a very remote part of Utah. Great scenery and Wasatch Cruisers cooks breakfast on Thursday morning for the group.

These trails are both slated by the BLM for restrictions for travel so if you have an interest in running them at some time, you might want to do it sooner than later.

here is a link to a trip report there by Kurt on his Cruiser Outfitters website.

I'd contact Rising Sun and see if you can add this trip. Beats running the same trails in Moab over and over and the solitude is awesome.

I just looked at Kurt's Arch Canyon pictures again and realized how much more water there was when we ran it last year as part of Cruise Moab. This is how the water crossings looked last year.

Thanks for posting this Troy.

If you have registered, you can send an e-mail to the contact info on the Cruise Moab page and we can modify your reservation to be on the Overnight run.

If you haven't registered, there are only a few spots left and the overnight run is still open.

Screwed again...

I have to go to a conference in Orlando on the EXACT days of the event.

Last year it was Guatemala.

I can't win.

Slickrock campground #124

Romer I will be bringing my friend Arturo Fuente and his friends Churchill Maduro..

Bull, I like your friends. I'll be in Slick rock CG spot 164 from Sunday to Sunday if you come early. I have to go early if I want to relax a bit while I'm there.

I'll arrive a day later on Monday. Thru to Sunday. I want a couple days to let the kids unwind from the drive before we drive too many trails. "maybe" try the pool. Hey I'm canukian, cold water is normal water for us.. :)

Look for the white 60 and white pop up. I'm I think in 171 at slickrock.

I was going over my CM08 registration and realized I didn't put my TLCA# down.

Who should I send that info to?

Thats OK, we already deleted you :D

You can provide it at registration or e-mail it to Chris Hatfield per the addy on the cruise moab page.

I'll provide it at registration as I am sure Chris has better things to worry about than updating a database.

Thanks

Yo...Honkey...is this something the Hunko-Junko can do?
Why did I think you lived in Florida?

We'll get you at the event. Thanks! :D

BTW, we are at our limit of 200! Thanks to all that signed up.

Trail asignments are strating to go out and should be complete within a few days. Some registrants did not suppy e-mail addresses, so if you don't getanything in a few days, send an e-mail per the contact point on the registration page.

Just a few more weeks to get ready and this promises to be another fine event.
