I have optiglass coating on my emblem and it still collects ice/snow and mud/grime. Toyota shoulda put a middle squirter between the headlights, lol
I just use regular cruise control and forget about PCS. Doesn't matter how much ice/snow/dirt/whatever obscures the sensor.
I'm making one in cad meowI bet a little spray nozzle and a small support bracket wouldn't be difficult to rig up just below the sensor. Splice into your headlight washer line. If you wanted to Macgyver it
So, it's just the adaptive cruise that breaks when you do this?
I've read somewhere it's not a good idea to use cruise control during icy snowy weather anyway... Cruise doesn't take into account that you may be slipping out of control... It just wants to keep you at that speed.. So I never use cruise in bad weather anyway... Just my opinion
Pull over and clean the emblem and you're good to goWell yes I agree 100% but after your drive through or in and out of a snow storm you would use it when it's safe. I just drove to and from Kalispell to Vegas and back .
