Hi all. So I cranked my torsion bars yesterday (4 turns each side). When I drove home last night, I noticed my headlight range was GREATLY diminished, to the point where it felt like the headlamps were pointing directly at the ground and I could only see 15 feet in front of me with the low-beams. Is this par for the course after adjusting the T-bars? Is there an (easy) way to adjust the headlights?

You didn't say which way you cranked the TBs. Typically, I'd assume you raised the front end (almost an inch). But, if you're lights are pointing down, that seem like you lowered the front a bit.

Could it be that the lights are point up more - and the beam is reaching further out, and not lighting the ground in front as you're used to?

The bottom line is: Yes, you would need to adjust your lights to compensate for a TB adjustment... up or down

Yes, I adjusted them to lift the front end, I guess I was not specific. I did not get the feeling that they were pointing out more as opposed to down, however. The ground immediately in front of me was lit up fine...however the range beyond the first 15 or so feet in front of me was extremely limited. FWIW, the high beams were fine and I noticed no change.

Did you check if your fogs were on as well? I'm guessing that's what you were seeing immediately in front of the truck and the headlights indeed shooting up and not at all on the road!
Good luck

Good looking out....yes, the fogs were on. Now it's all making sense!
