So I have an interesting scenario
After cranking the tbars on Amy she bobs on her suspension. The only way I can describe it is that it’s like driving a mini or a short wheel base sports car.
I was under the impression that re-indexing them vs cranking them had no effect on the stiffness of the suspension? (i.e. BOTH would result in the same stiffness)
BUT I’ve done some reading and the manufacturers who sell torsion bar keys claim that re-indexing / fitting keys will maintain a softer ride quality. (In comparison to just cranking)
So should I re-index to try soften up the ride a bit or is it going to make no difference??
I’m confused???
Does anyone have any good resources I use to educate myself?

I cannot wrap my head around how re-indexing does anything different than "cranking". They're just two different ways to preload the bar to the same point, no? One just has to be used when you run out of threads...
