Hello
Has anybody on hear added another crank pulley to a 3B for accessories. I have a few things i need to run off the fan belt but I cant get enough wrap on the pulleys so I need to run another belt.
Thanks

I was wondering if maybe the A/C compressor and power streeing equiped landcruisers used a different 2 sheave main pulley?

here is a picture of the needed bits....all 3 pieces can be had from the toyota dealer...peices are, Main pulley, Accessory pulley and crankshaft bolt to hold Main pulley on

So is that inner pulley the same as the 3B which only have one pulley? If i can order just the outer pulley and bolt it up I think that would work the best.
Thanx

check and see of your inner pulley has the threaded bolt holes, if so you are ready to go...

Ya the price from yoda is extremely expensive...try 150 or more.

Its a hard pulley to find. I have been asking around for a while. I need one for my York Project. Its the only hold back I have.

Its at the point I am going to cruise the junkyards for a pulley to machine the center and weld on.

But I may drop the money for a toyota one.

the accessory pulley has 6 mounting bolt holes ....i had to get all 3 pieces to make it work right....

the original 3b single pulley i had also "did not" have a flat mounting surface for the new accessory pulley and only had 2 holes which are used to remove the pulley if needed...

I may have another accessory pulley in the glory pit ......will have a look in the next couple days.....

pulley

I'm adding p/s to my 3b got the pullery from the boys at 4 wheel auto, part #13477-60030,spacer#13478-60010. It was not cheap! I was shocked ! 179 Canadaabucks! Came over fron Japan , i think.

150 or more is right....try the crank pulley itself . it was over 500 which is just plain stupid. Kind of like the 600 and change for a freakin oil pan.

fxxxing duncan toyota didn't put the crank bolt back in after replacing the front seal, so the pulley came off while driving, and got the innards all chewed up. ( crank is ok thank christ...)

unfortunately they did this work for the previous owner, and he's a little grumpy about the whole " enging wasn't toast, was only glowplugs " thing. So I don't have the receipt.

So I can't just walk in there with the pulley in my hand and slam the greasy ass thing down on the service managers desk and ask if they've found any crank pulley bolts laying around the shop.

may do it anyways, tho I hate that place with a passion. bunch of a-holes. wanted me to come in and prepay for a shifter bushing. a 3 dollar part.

So, I have to try and JB weld the inside of it, cuz no body seems to have one.

cheers,
ryan

Ryan, you need a crank pulley? I can find one at the wreckers here easily but it will be the kind with the two holes ONLY.

was there no powersteering models down there? I need the extra pulley where the a/c belt goes. Which is the same pulley as the powersteering, just stuck in the middle..

Can you source one of those? it is for a 84 BJ60.

Nope, no power steering BJ40's here. There MIGHT be some BJ60's with A/C and power steering in Honduras but I wouldn't get my hopes up of finding the parts. It might be available at one of the engine wholesalers as a take off but I've got no plans to go there right now.

btw the power steering and the A/C use DIFFERENT pulleys, they look different. The A/C one goes where the spacer is on your BJ60.

thanks for the offer!
, I actually have another crank pulley with the two holes but it's quite different from the 6 hole one. the face of it has a deep recess so without a big spacer the ps pulley won't bolt on.

May end up making a spacer for it , I don't want to be thinking about that pulley while I'm driving around.

IF anyone has a 6 hole crank pulley, lemme know.

Hey Ryan, I did not know you live in s*** Manious, lets hook up for a ride some time soon.

I have a HZJ73 on order and hope to get it soon.
