I’ve deemed not possible. I paid for registration and an out of state title transfer ~ $500paid to the state but DMV requested a vin check (might be my fault as Texas had it listed as a pickup and I suggested it was more of a SUV... whoops.) regardless I passed the vin inspection since I’ve had vin tags made to be visible but got failed at CHP for not being CARB compliant.... Tried to get a refund for my registration but they won’t budge. Took it to Yuma, $99 later and I’m set for 2 years, didn’t even have to take the truck.

If I read you correctly you registered your LC in Arizona (AZ plates) but you live in California? If your military you might be OK. But if you're not military and you get pulled over by the CHP... they will check your CDL CA address against your veh. regis. AZ address and see a mismatch. If your domicile is Calif you may be in hot water. Just a friendly "heads up".

Thanks! I’ve thought around it and am pretty sure I’ll be fine. If you wanna know how so feel free to message me 😊

Found this little gem...

Found this little gem...

Pretty sure he came to a meeting a couple years ago. Younger guy. First Trail-Gear bumper I got to see in person.

Rare? :hmm:

 Price is already down $2k for the "RARE" truck. If people get this kind of money for the land cruisers on craigslist I would be surprised. If they do mine must be worth much more than I thought. :smokin:

Should I ask $30K for my "very rare" 1997 collectors edition with no factory roof rack, no factory wind wing, no factory fake wood trim, factory front and rear lockers, and only 130K miles. When I looked at the options for 1997 only a few hundred were made to this spec, less were collectors and even less in white. So mine is "very rare" which makes it cool and worth the money, right?

Hell I've seen a few 1997's that people were asking $50k. Of course they had register-able diesel conversions, full interior rebuilds, full drive train rebuilds, full body and paint and come completely outfitted with gear.

(As I say this in my head I can now justify new tires, gears, drawers, lift upgrade and a full drive train refresh, oh and add cool emojis to my post) :hmm:

FJ62 for sale in Encinitas $15K - I've seen this one cruising around town for a few months and finally put eyes on it yesterday. Rain gutter rust is bad but not the worst. Solid coat of oil/grease covering underside. Lots of fun with seals in its future. Interior is pretty clean. 9/10 experts agree this is the second best color on a 60 series. Not sure if it has already been posted on 'Mud but new to me.
