8.5 - 9, pretty close when rounding, but our odo's read slow since we are running stock gears. I was calculating off my tire size delta from stock 265-70-17 to 315-75-16. I take the mileage and multiply by 1.09, then divide by gallons.

You might know all about rocks, but I think your math is screwed up. Best I ever got on 33's and stock gears was 16mpg. That was running around 65mph the whole time. That was also before I had any armor.
I have heard that thicker oil will decrease mpg's. That may be my problem. I'm getting good reports from Blackstone on my UOA's so I'll stick with it.
