The third row seats in our new Land Cruiser will rarely if ever be used. That said, my wife doesn't want me to remove them - yet. Does anyone make some sort of cover for them? With all the stuff I am pulling in and out of the storage area, I can easily see them getting damaged.

It would also be good to cover the 2nd row seats, especially when folded.

Got these for my LX 570, when I thought I was going to keep them in as a daily driver. Then bought ARB drawers... ;-(
A photo of my specific set with custom pockets are in message #8. Currently being used as expensive storage covers for seats in garage.

Basically four pieces shown:

Two seat covers & custom pockets - $169 + $40 = $209
Floor and 2nd row seat back - $170

These covers I linked below are for the 3rd row seats when folded. They fit nicely and have mesh pockets on them to add a small bit of storage to the cargo area. Several of us have them and they've been discussed in other threads. They're sold by Toyota in Japan, not sure why they don't offer them in the US. I think you can find them on eBay. I got mine from here (currently going for ~$85):

Uhhh, No. Made in USA.

I ran across this thread in a google search on rear seat covers. I was looking for something to protect my 3rd seats, they won't be use a lot and don't want to worry about them getting damaged, etc. I was looking at the OEM Toyota covers and they run around $130-145 on eBay (the JDM Parts version). The link for Canvasback Customs is pretty nice. They offer a full range to cover the entire cargo area which I found helpful. We are in the early stages of the plan to build a new house so I will be at the land we bought a bit, and will need to take stuff there and want to be able to toss stuff back without worry. Glad I found this thread.

Is anyone running these or know of a better / comparable option?

I have them with no complaints at all. I pulled my third row a few months back and have them stored longterm with these Canvasback covers installed as a slip-style cover. I started a thread last summer; it has plenty of photos and should be easy to find on this forum. I’ll find the link this evening and post it.

You’ll be hard-pressed to find a similar, handmade US product for this price point.

Thanks! I'll look for your thread also.

So it looks like the covers don't slip over and cover the headrests of the stored 3rd row seats? Is that correct?

Correct. Canvasback makes matching slip covers for the third row headrests. I can’t recall if they were included with third row covers, or a surcharge item. You can probably check via their storefront.

I talked to Canvasback and they would be willing to take a crack at modifying their covers to make storage bags when the seats have been removed from the truck. I need to send them some photos/measurements of the seats out of the truck. If anyone is near them, it might be easier to drop a seat off with them

How easy is it to use the 3rd row seats with the cover craft covers? We don’t use them frequently 2x/month toting around neighborhood kids

I'm going to bring this back from the dead since I just made a purchase.

I had good luck with www.coversandall.com for a custom cover for my outdoor furniture that was an odd size. The material and workmanship seem to be good quality for a reasonable price. I'm having a pair of custom covers made for the stowed 3rd row seats and will keep others posted, I'm cautiously optimistic! You essentially choose what shape you want to start with, input your measurements and anything special (i.e. leaving one end open with a drawstring for the 3rd row) and you're off. I even provided a stock photo of the seats folded up for reference.

Ok, I took a different route and ordered these:

H.VERSAILTEX Sofa Cover 3 Piece T Cushion Loveseat Slipcovers Couch Cover for 2 Cushion Couch Non Slip Super Stretch Soft Washable Furniture Protector with 2 Individual T Cushion Covers, Camel https://a.co/d/3eNZOvC

Obviously you don’t use the couch cover but the cushion covers work fairly well (color is far lighter than Terra but probably my fault for even attempting to match)

Overall, a cheap way to add some protection. They are far from the thick, canvas material I was thinking originally but the more I thought about it, the more that type of material seemed overkill. I can just throw these in the washer if need be.

Key component here is the straps to secure it, otherwise it would just pop off due to not be able to wrap around the bottom

Hope this helps!
