Hi Cottonlanders,
It's time to have some wrenching sessions!
It's always a great time to come together and help each other out with 4x4 projects. With our knowledge base we could probably build our own 4x4! You guys are always welcome to come out to the house with your junk.

Being apart of the CottonLand there is really no need to buy or rent expensive tools that just will collect dust. Chances are one of the members has it.

Tools that I have that fit that description :
JD2 model 3 tube bender
Millermatic 211 welder
Miller plasma cutter
Drill press
20 ton press

So from tune ups to roll cages we can help each other out.

Future projects of mine:
4x4 labs hi lift jack holder and other attachments.
80 series hi clearance lower control arms

Feel free to list your projects and what you may need help with.
80 drawer system

I'm with Lenny. Wrenching is as much fun as wheelin'....just about.

Wire and stick welder
Cutting torch
Portable band saw
Large drill

Projects coming soon:
Drawer system for 40
Orion

Future project:
Spring flip

With enough warning (gotta give me at least 15 minutes) I'll head over for a weekend of wrenching... I love handing people wrenches, pointing and laughing.

I have every tool needed to disassemble an 80

Man, that sounds like the good old days there Lenny.

Count me in.

Who needs what done?

Shutup Nolen.

After the first of the year, I have a list for Den Mom Deb's 80.

#1 Replace birfields and rebuild front hubs
#2 Regear
#3 rebuild rear axles
#4 full roof rack
#5 replace all tie rods with HD tie rods and relay link
#6 sleeve rear control arms
#7 add larger power steering cooler
#8 drink alot of cold beer

the 40, take roll cage out and paint cage

if I have a good year maybe an IPOR tire carrier and gas can/cooler carrier

Another great idea from our vp.

Here is what I have:
Years of experience working on every thing from classics to the most complicated BMW's.
Roughly $40k in hand tools and speciality tools for most any job. Including scan tools for the newer stuff.
Chris, I regeared my 80 the weekend before the crawl. It's not too bad.
Did I mention I like working on vehicles? And drinking beer. And driving my truck on rocks. Which reminds me I think my $15 is overdue.
Don't mind helping fellow cottonlanders out even if it means staying up in the wee hours making a truck able to drive home.

I had talked to offroad about helping me out....I have ZERO experience but have a new carb and a stock fuel pump I want to put in...problem is I only have a pair of pliers and a few screw drivers......BUT....i know a few places to buy beer!!!!:cheers:
I also would love to hand yall tools, once you explain to me what they do, and learn by watching. let me know a date and place

He'll have an IPOR after this coming weekend!

Overhauling Cottonland style !

I will be changing the Pesky Heater Hose on the 80 soon wouldn't mind a hand with that one.
