I saw the link on yotatech, then just pulled the trigger now that they are even cheaper. Costco is selling a rack similar to the yakima basket for $59 shipped.

I think this guy is way to happy...

i have a buddy that just got one for his 4runner, its a pretty nice basket for the money

I have one for my 4runner and am very pleased with it for how much it cost!! Not quite big enough for my 60 though!! Think I'm going to get a wilderness rack for it!

searched for it on costco, allready gone?

my buddy just got his in. something like $63 shipped to his door. well worth the money in my opinion. looks like it can be easily extended too. comes with hardware to bolt it to crossbars, but not to gutters. his 33x10.50 bfg mt fits perfectly in it, but that's all the room its got.

I forgot to mention ... rust is your enemy. Make sure that all the little defects -- the areas that are missing welds -- are sealed else you'll have red streaks running down your rear end like I did a year ago. I've since caked the inside of the tubular pipes with Tremclad Rust paint, which appears to be a good solution -- for now at least..

just got mine.... I am pleased with construction, finish, and weight. It is a little short, so I sourced an extension from ORSracksdirect.com. Looks like thule has bought sportrack, which appears to be the same as the coleman. Ironically, I paid $90 for the extension and only $63 for the rack itself. I'll have $150 total in the rack, which I think is a bargain......

inexpensive, seems OK.
Hardly what you would call a serious expedition rack, though...

I had a wilderness roofrack on my 93-80 for over 10 years, besides a little rust where I scraped it on rocks, it is still holding up just fine, not 50 dollar chinese special but it is worthy of being on expoedition type travel, I tested it for over ten years, I do not have any mercy for things like racks, carried logs on top of on trails for fires, people etc. good to go.
