Bumping this up.....I know many have done this. Really don't want to go the trial and error route on this.

No idea regarding Dorman, I installed a set of the mini o2 simulators from here:
I believe some people use the right angle version due to fitment, but the mini type worked for me.

I installed this one last month. Worked exactly how I expected. Part came in in about a week. No lights in the past couple hundred miles.

Just FYI on the right angle O2 spacers....I have them due to LT headers and no front cats. They have worked perfectly for over 3 years for eliminating PO420/PO430 codes. But, earlier this summer my GX developed a very strange noise where it had a metallic ping/rattle upon acceleration and high RPMs. This really freaked me out as it sounded like it was coming from inside the transmission (it wasn't). I later isolated it to the PS rear catalytic converter and thought the cat honeycomb and broken.

Upon dropping the midpipe to inspect it, I found the little honeycomb end of the right angle spacer and the mini cat in front of the PS cat. Removed both of them and the noise went away. I did not bother re-installing them and have not had any CELs.

I ordered one of the angled ones from the big daddies garage site. I will update the thread when I get it installed.

Is Dorman part number 42009 the right part for the GX470 O2 anti-fouler?

Yes, this will work if drilled out to 1/2 inch at the end. Be aware that you will have very little space to install if used on Doug Thorley Long Tube headers. Pre-install the O2 Sensor into the de-fouler and then install (paying careful attention to the wiring on the sensor). I just did it with exactly this product this past weekend.

As an update: I installed the 90 degree stainless steel spacers from "bigdaddiesgarage". CEL light is out and all is well. I did not install the simulator, just the angled spacer. It is a high quality piece. It has a nut on the exhaust pipe end so you can angle the 90 degree spacer to whatever angle you need. Install was easy and it should last a super long time.
