Hi all.
I noticed a cup or so of coolant last night on the ground, after putting some petrol in at the servo.
It seems to be coming from the passenger side (its a RH drive vehicle), near or just in front of the firewall.
I can see some wet marks on the RH frame just behind the front wheel.
I dropped it into a mechanics this morning before work, as I didn't have time to look at it myself.
He just called me, and said it needs a hose that connects to the T-piece at the very back of the engine, and the problem is that he'd have to take the inlet manifold off to get to it.
This sounds like the notorious heater T that I have read a lot about.
Is it correct that the inlet manifold has to come off?
If so, I guess I'll have to order parts and find alternatives to work...
If it doesn't require removing the inlet manifold, could I temporarily bypass the T piece with a straight through piece, until the T arrives?
If so, does anyone know the outer diameter of the T-piece?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
